You can't but love Banksy. He makes life interesting for anyone around him lol
Pocket rocket.
How the heck does she get that poo that high in the stable lol
I don't know this horse???😊
It's Tina Wallace's horse, Banksy, from the channel Life on the Left Rein
Hes loves his life❤
Just shows the work you’ve put in. And I bet in another ur or so she won’t over jump it then either. Definitely progressing and it’s great to watch .
That snort as tho to say… Now let’s get down to business.
He's a little rocket out that starting box,bless him.x
Keen bean!!
Go…. 🏎 💨
Haha literally. Didn’t need to tell him twice x
❤❤❤❤❤😂
Banksy is so adorable! 💙
Isn’t he just! Loves his job ❤️
Wow !!!!! Fantastic riding & great performance by Addie. I haven't watched your channel (or many channels) due to ill health. Crumbs Emily, such improvement in Addie, you are doing a brilliant job with her. You deserve every success. A shout out to 'team EMD' really lovely supporters & great voice-overs as well. Much love to all❤
Awww thank you! Hope you’re on the mend ❤️🩹 very fortunate to have a wonderful support team behind me cx
Well done Emily that was brilliant! Good girl Addie. Such a beautiful talented mare 😊👏
Awww thank you! She’s certainly special 💛
Good test but you might have better luck with taking contact with having a consultant come out for a better bit fit for her so she accepts the contact nicely. 😊 she seems to really play with her current bit.
Wow! She’s epic and you are doing such an amazing job with her. Thank you for taking us on the journey and staying so honest about the process! ❤
Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoy watching the journey xx
FANTASTIC 😍
That HAS to be majorly satisfying knowing that all the hard work is paying off.... epic!! xx
It really is! Makes all the harder days totally worth it xx
Same horse, same rider, same jump. What a great rider you are!
Aww thank you!! X
✨teamwork ✨
💛💛
❤bless her she's a fab little pony. You both have come such a long way.xx
Sometimes it’s lovely to look back to realise just how far xx
She's going all the way very special girl ❤
🤞💛
Aww!! Addie is such a clever pony! You’re a great rider!! ❤❤
You are so kind, thank you x
Really hope my mare follows in the same direction :)
I’m sure it will! Enjoy the journey xx
👏👏🔥 that smile 😀
Was so proud of her 🥰
You've changed your xc colours? No more pink😮
cos she has the pink air vest :)
Yeah with the pink air vest I’ve had a little change up ☺️
Well done! Enjoyed the Cameron & Alicia segment 👌🏻.
Thank you! I know think they need a regular spot xx
Omg!!!!! BLOODY awesome day!!! Well done congratulations to both of you, im so happy for you Em 🎉
Thanks so much!!
😃😃😃😃😃😃
Wow she looks class! Once she nails the dressage she's going to be one to beat for sure, she really seems to have come out this year proper game on xx
She certainly understands the job now and absolutely loves it ❤️
Brilliant in all three phases! Well done. Addie really is growing up bless her.
She’s grown so much!! Very excited for the rest of the season! Xx
Addi is looking great
Thank you x
Great result for you and Addie, and really interesting hearing Alicia and Cams thoughts on your dressage and showjumping. I would continue with your 90 on Addie next week and 100 on Banksy...then maybe do the next event at 100 with Addie when you only have to concentrate on 1 horse ❤ Well done xxx
Thank you! Yeah really interesting and a great way to learn too. Ooo might have done the opposite of that 🙈😂 keep your eyes peeled for the next vlog xx
Aww well done! Alicia’s 4* mare is full sister to my boy so I loved that segment of your vlog!
Ahhhh amazing! Xx
You have done so well with her, completely different from a year ago, really well done 👏 🎉
Thank you so much, glad you can see the difference too xx
Wow, Alicia is Savage! I love how Cam reins her in 😂 I thought it was an epic test, such an improvment well done guys!!
😂😂 I thought they worked super as a duo! Xx
Fab event. Not sure if the fluffy noseband does perhaps make her easier to judge as being out of line in dressage
Ooo that’s a very good point!
@emdeventing have it for jumping when you probably need a more cushioned effect but put your leather protector on for dressage
Love the commentary!! So great to have all the expertise and tuition on your vlogs. Super well ridden for all phases, and good luck for the next one. I would personally do banksy in the 100 due to the experience he has and wanting to qualify. But you could easily do Addie too! Good luck
Yeah great to learn from and lovely to listen to. Ahh thank you much appreciated, might not have done that way round though 🙈 xx
Congratulations on placing third!!! 🎉 Well deserved; both you and Addy were phenomenal! I agree with the general consensus that you and Addy could EASILY move up to BE 100. If you are eventing Addy AND Banksy, I’d do Addy in the 100 bc you know her so well, and have that partnership. I’d do Banksy in the 90. Of course we all know Banksy is more than capable of doing the 100, I personally would want to take my OWN horse is the more difficult class and ride my friend’s horse in an easier class just bc I know I don’t know my friend’s horse as well, that I haven’t spent the thousands of hours training and competing my friend’s horse as I have with my own. But you might be bolder than I am, in which case I’d take them both in the 100 if that’s allowed. Not an eventer, so I don’t know the rules on that. Whatever you decide, I’m sure you’ll do great! This comment is much later than planned, bc I actually rewatched it several times, especially the cross country footage bc you and Addy made it look a breeze and SO much fun. I’m in the U.S. and have ridden and competed in Hunter/jumpers for three decades now (schooled to 1.20m show jumping but only competed up to 1.15m), but have developed an interest in eventing over the last few years thanks to following you and your friends. Probably silly to try an even MORE potentially dangerous equine sport at age 47, but who knows?😅. Anyway, congrats again. Great video, and loved the commentary on your dressage and SJ!❤
Aww thank you so much! It took a while to make my mind up but I trusted my gut so look out for the next vlog xx
Both of you were so good!
Thank you ❤️
A certain grassroots competition may be in your future!! 💖💖
Hehehe 🤞
I am in the U.S., and I am SO jealous that you riders have so many hacking lanes and all the wide open fields available for “fun” rides! I own a boarding and training stable (don’t know if you all would call it a “yard” or “livery”) out in a pretty rural area of my state. I sort of did that on purpose- it was important to me to have a large enough property to have LOTS of pasture space for turning the horses out. However, even in this more rural area, we have nothing like you have. I hope you are able to keep all of those lovely hacking trails and the picturesque “fun ride” areas. Just had to pause to say that. Now I’m going to watch the rest of the video! (And possibly plan some sort of UK riding vacation❤)
Same here! Some isolated areas do have trails and rights of way, like Hunterdon County, NJ but I think it's quite rare overall. Nothing like in the UK! So jealous!!!
Not everywhere in the UK is like that. We are very very fortunate. I definitely think a UK vacation should be on the cards! Xx
Addie 100 Banksy 90.
Addie is super, well done. Time for 100 and Novice. :) she has a cute little bascule over jumps. Youve done a fine job producing her!
Thank you so much xx
Addie is looking great! You can see your partnership really starting to click 😊❤ feel like she’s maturing and she absoloutely loves her job! You guys will go strength to strength as she grows up ❤
Thank you, yeah she’s really starting to understand it all now and loving it along the way which is lush to feel xx
I love that i learn so much while watching your fantastic vlogs. Thank you for letting us follow your epic journey with your very special girl.
Looks great Em! I'd definitely do Addie in the 100, since we know Banks is fine either way, and he's going to keep fitness/outing mode activated, and its not a "proper" run competition wise for him, it doesn't really matter which one he does, aaand I know you know him, but riding horses that aren't your main one, is always harder mentally, so the easier elements of each phase will give you a break in that respect. Just my little Aussie opinion, either way, good luck!!
I had the same thought as you! I would rather do the more difficult level on my own horse that I’ve ridden and competed and I’m used to how my horse goes. Riding a friend’s horse in a competition seems much scarier, so I’d want to compete him lower (of course, I’m not as bold as I used to be😅)
Love the 'Cam'-eo and guest commentary
What I want to know is...when is Cam starting his own channel? Lol
what is this with time penalties if you have a faster time than minimum time for cross country? Both your horse and Banksy are fast horses and you are riding normally and you don't push your horses but you take your time and read the fences and you know how to ride and jump the fences. I know that they set a minimum and maximum time for the course but it does not seem like that they think that there is a possibility that there can be horses that are naturally fast and you do not rush to jump the fences but you take the time you need, but still both of your horses are riding fast when you ride.
Ahh you and addy are class. 🎉
